Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) new Administrative Office Building that brings together cutting-edge sustainability design and practice in one unique structure.
Mass timber construction, an open-loop geothermal heating/cooling system and minimal use of concrete combine to create a building with low greenhouse gas emissions – the estimated CO2 reduction is roughly equivalent to taking more than 240 cars off the road for a year!
Join us for Doors Open Toronto and get a chance to explore one of the most sustainable buildings in North America. Discover the innovative green technologies integrated into TRCA’s new Administrative Office through interactive displays and drop-in guided tours happening every 20 minutes.
Take part in activities and other family-friendly learning opportunities to uncover hidden gems of the local environment. Each guest will leave inspired to be an environmental champion.
