Join us as we celebrate Vaughan Culture Days! On September 27, discover The Village’s rarely seen North Property and get an exclusive look at some of Vaughan’s oldest heritage buildings. Enjoy a guided walk through The Village to this hidden space, home to 5 heritage buildings and extensive greenery. Surrounded by fall colours, piece together the story of the Dalziels—a Scottish immigrant family who lived on the site for generations. Pre-registration required at village.info@trca.ca by September 25, 2025. Spots will fill quickly so register now to avoid disappointment!

The Village at Black Creek (formally Black Creek Pioneer Village) is a living history museum that invites visitors to explore the history of the Toronto region from many perspectives and across time. With a collection of 40 heritage buildings. 50,000 artifacts, 60 rare breed animals, and a diverse range of exhibits and programs, we share stores about the past that matter to people today. It takes a village to find where we belong. Find you place here.

Please register in advance at village.info@trca.ca. Spaces are limited so register early to avoid disappointment. We will meet at 2:30 p.m. and walk about 15 minutes along uneven ground to the North Property where the heritage buildings are located. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Latecomers will not be able to take part.
