Workshop: Cookies & Cookie Cutters
Our popular cookie workshop returns with a Fall twist; autumnal shapes and flavours!
Use traditional techniques to create a cookie cutter in a tinsmithing workshop. Cookie cutters were commonly made from tin plate by a tinsmith and featured simple shapes, like stars, a mouse, or a heart. In this workshop, we will make simple cookie cutters with a safe edge using templates and hand tools.
After, head into the kitchen to create cookies using a 19th century recipe. Measure, mix, and prepare the dough before using your cutter to punch out the shapes.
