Birding Walk at The Meadoway

Birding Walk at The Meadoway

by TRCA

Join TRCA and the Meadoway Ambassadors for a spring bird hike through The Meadoway, one of the most exciting greenspace revitalization projects in Canada! Learn about the history of The Meadoway and discover how this landscape is designed to connect people, plants and animals. Then, embark on a guided walk through The Meadoway to observe both resident and migratory birds.

This walk is ideal for new or novice birders. Participants will learn about the basics of birding, species identification, birding ethics, and the best places to look for birds at The Meadoway. May is peak spring migration, making it one of the best times of the year to observe a wide variety of species!

All are welcome at this family-friendly event! Binoculars and bird identification guides will be available for participants to use during the program.
