Claireville Family Program: Orienteering

Get ready for a family navigation adventure at Claireville Conservation Area!

In this active program, participants are introduced to the basic features found on most maps. Learn the basics of map reading and orienteering as you work together to crack the course and find hidden control points throughout the park. Families will practice:

Reading a map
Using a compass
Orientating maps
Following a route

Start with a quick practice course, then put your new skills to the test on a fun team challenge in nature!

Indoor washrooms are available on-site.
