Grab your binoculars and join us for a fun and relaxing guided birding walk around beautiful Marita Payne Park.

Whether you’re totally new to birdwatching or already know a chickadee from a cardinal, this gentle stroll by the pond is the perfect way to explore nature, learn how to spot and identify local birds, and enjoy the peaceful sights and sounds of early fall.

This event is intended for Ages 6+:
– Beginner level information
– Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
– Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
– Trail difficulty (10 being the most difficult): 3/10
– Sturdy footwear and long pants are recommended.

Price: Free

Where: Please meet at the Food Forest located in the northwest portion of the park. Here is the map of the exact location.

Cancellation Policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a significant chance of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 9:00 AM on the day of the event if there is a cancellation. Please direct any questions regarding the cancellation policy for this event to simone.granieri@trca.ca.
