Join Ravine Youth Team (RYT) alumni, facilitators, and friends in an evening of networking and learning at Toronto Botanical Garden.

Get a chance to learn about the Loop: an exciting new project that will connect ravines and greenspaces across the City of Toronto. We’ll hear from key players working on this project and learn how their career journeys have shaped their involvement.

Following the opening keynote, you’ll have the opportunity to:

✔ Upgrade your LinkedIn profile by getting photos taken at our professional headshot station
✔ Gather around an outdoor fire and reaffirm your connection to working in the natural sector
✔ Network with other young conservation professionals
✔ Drink apple cider and enjoy a variety of refreshments, including vegan and gluten-free options

Attending this gathering is a great way to enhance your knowledge of current greenspace planning in Toronto, and grow your professional network. This event is intended for individuals who are working and/or seeking work in the conservation sector.

LEARN MORE:

The Loop is a new 80km network of trails and public spaces connecting the Don and Humber valleys, the Finch Hydro Corridor, the Lake Ontario waterfront and the Beltline trail. The Loop redefines the future city: one where people, nature, and our economy thrive together.

Ravine Youth Team (RYT) is celebrating its 7th year of providing access and exposure to a variety of possible roles and career paths within the conservation sector, while also supporting projects that preserve and protect Toronto’s incredible ravines. Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is proud to partner with the City of Toronto on this program, which is funded through the Ravine Strategy.

This event is hosted in partnership between TRCA and TBG. We are committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accessibility accommodation, please email Jasmine at jasmine.thompson@trca.ca.
