Join us at the Claremont Nature Centre on Saturday July 5th to be trained in how to safely catch-and-release bumble bees and ID different species, while learning about all things-bee!
Once trained, we invite volunteers to come back throughout the summer and be a part of our official Bumble Bee Watch to help record data and share any findings.
Last year, our volunteers found a number of bee species, including two species at risk (the American Bumble Bee and the Yellow-Banded Bumble Bee).
The first 30 participants will be officially registered for this event. Otherwise, please contact Abby at abby.selliah@trca.ca if wished to be placed on a waitlist.
