Join us for the Climate Ready Homes: Home Flood Protection Webinar, where you’ll learn about common home flooding issues, practical solutions and tips to address them, and information about available rebate and incentive programs. The webinar is organized by TRCA, in partnership with Town of Ajax, and will be presented by The Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation (Intact Centre) – an applied research centre that works with homeowners, communities, governments and businesses to identify, and reduce, the impacts of extreme weather and climate change.

– How to identify indoor and outdoor home flooding challenges
– What solutions work best for your home (e.g. rain garden, sump pump, or backwater-valve)
– Practical tips on how to hire an expert to address larger issues (e.g. major foundation repair, waterproofing, dealing with mold, or landscaping)
– Available rebates and incentives for home flood protection measures.
