Join us for a fun day of volunteering and making a real impact with Conservation Youth Corps and Girls Can Too in Peel Region. Take action with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and earn high school volunteer hours!
Do you enjoy being outdoors, want to help out in your community, and learn some simple woodworking skills? Do you have an interest in environmental conservation or the trades? Have you participated in previous youth programs and want to do more?
Join Conservation Youth Corps (CYC) and Girls Can Too (GCT) for a fall volunteer day at Albion Hills Conservation Park and earn up to 3 high school community service hours. All tools and training are provided.

Remove invasive species

Event Details
Who: Youth aged 14+ currently enrolled in High School or previous GCT participant (if younger than 14)
Date: Saturday, October 3
Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Albion Hills Conservation Park – Field Centre
Participants will receive a reminder email with details about the meeting location.

✔ Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes
✔ Bring a refillable water bottle

Cancellation Policy
Minimum of 5 participants registered required for the event to run. This event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 7:00AM on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation. In the event of a cancellation, the rescheduled date of the event is Saturday, October 24, 2026.
