Come out and experience our Family Fun Sundays series — a great way to enjoy the summer weather and connect with other families! With a different theme and activities each session, there’s a Family Fun Sunday for every child’s interests! Or, save your spot for all four events by purchasing a discounted series pass.

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. & 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on the last Sunday in May, June, July and August

May 31st – Teddy Bear Picnic
Bring along your favourite stuffie and a snack for some outdoor fun! We will enjoy a light-hearted mix of games, storytime, and craft activities, as well as a guided nature walk.

June 28th – Family Yoga Story Time
Embark on an adventure where your guide leads you through a story using yoga poses and movements to make it come to life!

July 26th – Family Nature Journaling
Make your own nature journal then enjoy a nature walk with guided stops that support a connection to nature through mindfulness and guided journaling techniques.

August 30th – Wilderness Skills
Explore the basics of shelter building and fire-starting! Together, families will explore hands-on techniques that build confidence and spark a love for outdoor adventure.

What should I wear to the event?
Please dress for the weather. It is always recommended to wear layers and appropriate footwear to be outside in wet or muddy conditions. The event will take place outdoors.

Where do we go when we arrive at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Park?
Please make your way to the Nature Centre – this is where we will meet. This building also has washrooms attached to it.
