Claireville Conservation Area is pleased to offer programs specifically designed to compliment the unique scheduling and curriculum requirements of home schooled students.

This program combines team-building, outdoor learning, and hands-on experimentation with a curiosity-driven curriculum led by student wonder and interest.

Centered around a new theme each week – including Wilderness Survival, Animal Tracking, Mapping and Orienteering, Naturalist Skills and ID, and more – the program offers students the opportunity to meet new friends and be immersed in a hands-on learning experience.

This program is suitable for children ages 4-12. Children under 4 are welcome to attend with their older registered siblings free of charge. However, parents will be responsible for their younger children and must remain with the program.

6-week Late Fall Program Dates: Nov 11, 18, 25, & Dec 2, 9, 16

Hours: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $142.00 per child for 6-week program

Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 30 days before the start of the camp program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 30 days before the start of the camp program do not qualify for a refund. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers required for camp to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the camp due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.
