Meet the moths of Tommy Thompson Park!
Curious about moth biodiversity at Tommy Thompson Park? Join us for an evening moth survey at Toronto’s urban wilderness!
Join TRCA educators and local moth experts to learn more about these nocturnal insects. This program will begin with an informative talk about moths and their importance in the ecosystem. Then, in small groups, TRCA educators will take participants into the park through a rotation of survey sites to observe moths.
This walk is part of TRCA’s Butterfly Festival at Tommy Thompson Park program series.
This event is intended for Ages 12+:
– Beginner level information
– Introductory concepts delivered in a presentation style format
– Intended audience includes youth and adults
Date and Time: Tuesday, July 14th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm (RAIN DATE: Thursday, July 16th)
Capacity: 45 participants.
Location: Tommy Thompson Park at the Main Entrance located here.
Ticket Price: Tickets for this event are $17.00 + HST (plus Eventbrite fees).
