
2026 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Event at Heart Lake Conservation Area Medicine Wheel Garden
The Four Colours Drum Circle and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority invite you to attend the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day) event at the Medicine Wheel Garden in Heart Lake Conservation Area, Brampton. Together we will wear orange shirts to commemorate the Children of the Residential Schools and offer prayers of healing to all families affected.
Ceremony at the Medicine Wheel Garden commences at 5:00 pm.
*please note your ticket attached to your confirmation email is REQUIRED to be shown to gain entrance into the conservation area.
Parking
Parking will be available in the Green Acres lot within Heart Lake Conservation Area. See map below for more details. Once in the park, please follow the event signs. It is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from parking to event site.
How to Prepare
Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will have water on site for refilling and light snacks will be provided.
The event runs rain or shine, please come dressed according to the forecast.
