Join fiber artist Cathy Disbrow for an afternoon of creative “stabbing” to craft your very own sheep puff. You’ll discover the addictive art of needle felting as you transform unspun wool into a personality-packed figure using a special felting needle. Cathy will guide you through the essentials of sculpting with wool, including the professional technique for attaching authentic curly locks to give your sheep its signature fleece. To top it off, you’ll even craft a tiny carrot for your new friend to snack on.

This workshop is a true “farm-to-art” experience, as you’ll be working with wool sourced directly from the Village’s very own flock of Border Leicester sheep. It is perfectly suited for absolute beginners.

Make a full day of it! Your ticket includes FREE Village admission, which opens at 11:00 a.m. for those who wish to explore the grounds or enjoy a picnic lunch.
