Join us to learn about owls in the Greater Toronto area! Discover their unique calls and amazing nighttime adaptations in a short presentation. Then, get an exclusive peek at how TRCA’s Bander-in-Charge monitors migrating owls at Tommy Thompson Park. If we’re lucky, we may get a chance to meet an owl!*

*Note: the owls that are part of the monitoring program at Tommy Thompson Park are wild animals. We cannot guarantee that owls will be seen at the event.

• Content intended for older youth and adults

Timeslots: Choose between 6:30pm to 8:00 p.m. OR 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Location: Tommy Thompson Park, 1 Leslie St. Meet your event leader at the Nature Centre, which is located approximately ~7-minute walk from the main entrance of the park.

Ticket Price: Tickets for this event are $25.57 (taxes included).

Parking/Transit Info: Free, public parking is available at the main entrance of the park, directly adjacent to the park pavilion. The entrance to the lot is on Unwin Ave, just west of Leslie St. If taking transit, take the 83 Jones bus to Commissioners St. The Nature Centre is ~15 minute walk from the bus stop.

Cancellation Policy: The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is a chance of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 3:00pm on the day of the event if there is a cancellation. Please direct any questions regarding the cancellation policy for this event to tisha.tan@trca.ca.
