Let’s go birding in your community!
Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or a first-time enthusiast, this nature walk is for you!
You’ll learn to identify a variety of common bird species by their distinctive calls, vibrant colours, and unique behaviours.
Bring your binoculars for an up-close view of these incredible creatures, or we will have some pairs to borrow if needed.
This event is intended for Ages 6+:
– Beginner level information
– Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
– Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
– Trail difficulty rating (10 being most difficult): 5/10

Thursday July 9, 2026 at 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Location:
Meeting spot will be the intersection of 16th Sideroad & 7th Concession. There is a wide area there where participants can park.
Cancellation Policy:
The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a significant chance of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 2:30 PM on the day of the event if there is a cancellation. Please direct any questions regarding the cancellation policy for this event to simone.granieri@trca.ca.
