
Explore Toronto’s newest waterfront park and learn more about the spring bird migration at this family-friendly nature walk!
Join TRCA for a spring bird hike through the unique landscape and ecology of Biidaasige Park. Educators will share the history of the park and lead a guided walk through the park’s wetland and meadow ecosystems to observe both resident and migratory birds.
Binoculars and bird identification guides will be available for participants to use during the program.
This walk is part of TRCA’s Spring Bird Festival at Tommy Thompson Park program series.
This event is intended for Ages 8+:
– Beginner level information
– Concepts that are friendly for all ages
– Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
Cancellation requests received by TRCA more than 14 days before the start of the program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 14 days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Minimum registration numbers are required for the program to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the program due to low registration, a refund of the ticket price less Eventbrite fees will be issued.
