Celebrate the Spring Migration at Tommy Thompson Park!

Take flight with TRCA and participate in the Spring Bird Festival, a series of events celebrating the return of 50 million migratory birds to Toronto each spring.

Located on the Toronto Waterfront at the convergence of two major migratory flyways, Tommy Thompson Park (TTP) is Toronto’s largest greenspace and provides critical stopover habitat for migrating birds. With 334 species recorded at the park (including 55 breeding species), it is truly a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Event Highlights

• Family-Friendly Fun: Activities and presentations hosted at the Nature Centre.
• Guided Walks: Expert-led tours to the TTP Bird Research Station (TTPBRS) and key bird-viewing areas.
• Early Starts: To catch the best of the migration, guided walks are scheduled for 7:15 am, 7:30 am, and 7:45 am.

No Registration Required: This is a walk-in event. You do not need to book a spot in advance; just show up and enjoy the festival at your own pace.
